It's been 2 months since I've stopped using the Metaverse social media tools, FB and IG, although it's nice that blogger will let me auto-share posts to their platform, without visiting it, so you'll still see that pop up on FB sometimes.
This change is amazing and I'm so grateful to be free of the excessive distractions and drama that comes along with algorithmic social media.
While it has some useful qualities, they pale in comparison to experiencing life without them. Being more in the moment and cultivating deeper relationships through other means is so much more refreshing. I do not plan to return to them for at least some months, if ever.
That said, I've heard from some of you that you miss my presence and posts.
